8 oz spaghetti or linguine

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup beef broth

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup bread crumbs

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.

        Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

          Stir in the sliced mushrooms, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until they soften.

            In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, beef mixture, beef broth, milk, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

              Fold in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese (reserve a bit of each for topping).

                Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Spread evenly and sprinkle the reserved cheese on top, followed by the bread crumbs for added crunch.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the mixture is bubbly and the top is golden brown.

                    Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes, and then garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
