Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn

1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

3 tablespoons balsamic glaze

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the cheese tortellini. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-5 minutes for fresh tortellini or 7-9 minutes for frozen.

Drain and Cool: Once cooked, drain the tortellini and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Drain thoroughly and set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables: In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, torn basil leaves, and diced red onion.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooled tortellini to the bowl with the vegetables.

Dress the Salad: Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil over the tortellini mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Toss Gently: Using a large spoon or spatula, gently toss everything together until well combined and evenly coated with the dressing.

Chill & Serve: Let the pasta salad chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve cold or at room temperature.

                Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 45 min | Servings: 4-6

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the pasta salad in a large glass bowl to showcase the vibrant colors. Garnish with a few whole basil leaves on top and a drizzle of extra balsamic glaze for an elegant touch.
