Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the foil for the wings to cook evenly.

Prepare the Wings: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until all wings are evenly coated.

Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, and hot sauce until smooth. Reserve about 1/4 cup of the sauce for later.

Coat the Wings: Pour the honey mustard sauce over the seasoned chicken wings. Toss to coat the wings thoroughly in the sauce.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to ensure even crispiness. The wings should be golden brown and crispy when done.

Glaze the Wings: In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the reserved honey mustard sauce over each wing for an extra burst of flavor.

Serve: Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
