4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

      Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

        In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any flavorful bits.

          Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried Italian herbs. Mix well to combine.

            Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream mixture and stir until melted and smooth.

              Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the creamy sauce over the top.

                Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

                  Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

                    Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
