Ingredients
Β Β

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

Lemon slices for garnish

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
Β

Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Prepare a large sheet of aluminum foil, about 18 inches long, and place it on a baking sheet. This will be used to wrap the salmon and asparagus.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the sauce.

Place the trimmed asparagus in the center of the foil sheet. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Nestle the salmon fillets on top of the asparagus. Pour the lemon garlic sauce evenly over the salmon and asparagus, ensuring each piece is well coated.

Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon and asparagus, creating a sealed packet. Make sure it's tightly sealed to keep the moisture in during baking.

Transfer the baking sheet with the foil packet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Carefully open the foil packet (watch out for steam!) and check for doneness.

If desired, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a crispy top.

Serve immediately, garnishing with fresh parsley and lemon slices.

                      Prep Time: 10 min | Total Time: 30 min | Servings: 4

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the salmon and asparagus directly from the foil packet for a rustic look, or plate them individually with lemon slices and a sprinkle of parsley for a bright, appealing presentation. Enjoy!
