Ingredients

4 cups water

4 tablespoons Thai tea leaves (or Thai tea bags)

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

Ice cubes

Star anise and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a rolling boil.

Once boiling, remove the pot from heat and add the Thai tea leaves (or tea bags). Let it steep for about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

After steeping, strain the tea into a large pitcher to remove the leaves or remove the bags.

While the tea is still warm, stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, you can refrigerate the tea to chill it further or use it immediately over ice.

To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour the chilled tea until the glass is about 3/4 full.

Add the evaporated milk for a creamy texture and top with a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk for sweetness. Stir gently before drinking.

Optional: Garnish the glass with a star anise and fresh mint leaves for added flavor and presentation.

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve in clear glasses to showcase the beautiful orange hue of the tea, and consider using decorative straws for an added touch of elegance.
