4 slices of sourdough bread

4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

1 tablespoon sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

    In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, chopped basil, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

      Spread a generous layer of the butter mixture on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

        Place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket. Layer 2 slices of cheddar cheese on top.

          Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up, making sure the cheese is sandwiched between the bread.

            Air fry the sandwiches for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

              Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a minute before slicing.
