Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup cornstarch

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

1/2 cup mayonnaise

3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust according to heat preference)

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate Shrimp: In a bowl, combine the shrimp and buttermilk. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes in the fridge.

Prepare Coating: In a shallow dish, mix the panko breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until evenly combined.

Coat the Shrimp: Remove the shrimp from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each shrimp in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Shrimp: Arrange the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are golden brown and crispy.

Prepare Bang Bang Sauce: In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha. Mix until smooth.

Serve: Once the shrimp are cooked, transfer them to a serving dish and drizzle generously with the Bang Bang sauce. Toss gently to coat if desired, or serve the sauce on the side.

Garnish: Sprinkle chopped green onions on top for a fresh touch.
