Ingredients

1 cup apple pie filling (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces)

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

Caramel sauce (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well to incorporate the flavors.

Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Roll out the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface and separate it into triangles along the perforations.

Place about one tablespoon of the apple filling mixture at the wide end of each triangle.

Roll the dough over the filling, starting from the wide end, to form a pocket or bomb. Make sure to seal the edges tightly to prevent the filling from leaking out.

Brush the tops of the apple pie bombs with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Place the filled bombs in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each for even cooking.

Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Carefully remove the bombs from the basket and let them cool for a couple of minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired before serving.
