Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice (about 8 limes)
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • 0.5 cup agave syrup (or to taste)
  • to taste fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • as needed ice cubes
  • as needed lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the pitted and halved cherries with agave syrup. Blend until smooth. If desired, strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove any pulp for a smoother drink.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lime juice with the cherry mixture. Stir well to combine.
  3. Slowly add the sparkling water to the pitcher, gently mixing to keep the fizz intact. Adjust sweetness by adding more agave syrup if needed.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cherry limeade over the ice.
  5. Garnish each glass with a few fresh mint leaves and a slice of lime on the rim for a pop of color.
