Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 0.5 teaspoon pumpkin spice blend (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 serving whipped cream for topping
  • 1 serving additional pumpkin spice for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the instant coffee, granulated sugar, and hot water.
  2. Using an electric mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture on high speed until it becomes fluffy and frothy, about 2-4 minutes. The color should lighten significantly.
  3. In a separate container, heat the milk (either on the stove or in the microwave) until warm but not boiling.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice blend into the warm milk until well combined.
  5. In a glass, pour in the pumpkin spice-infused milk and gently spoon the whipped coffee mixture on top.
  6. Using a spoon, gently swirl the whipped coffee into the milk for a marbled effect, if desired.
  7. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle extra pumpkin spice on top for garnish.

💡 Chef's Notes

For a vegan option, use non-dairy milk.
