Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef cubes, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all pieces are coated. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. In the same skillet with the garlic butter, add the marinated beef cubes. Sear them for about 3-4 minutes on each side, ensuring a nice brown crust forms while still keeping the center juicy. Cook to your desired doneness.
  4. Once beef bites are cooked, pour any remaining garlic butter from the skillet over the beef. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving platter, and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color.
