Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Energy Bites Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup natural creamy peanut butter
- 0.5 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 0.5 cup ground flaxseed
- 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- a pinch sea salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup). Stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Add in the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt, mixing until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the rolled oats and ground flaxseed, stirring until everything is well combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Once mixed, use your hands to form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) from the mixture.
- Place the energy bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
- Once all the mixture is formed into bites, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store the bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
