Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 0.5 cup dried apricots, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
  • 1 unit Zest of 1 orange
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • to taste unit Chopped pistachios for rolling (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, chopped dried apricots, and shredded coconut.
  2. Add the honey, orange blossom water, orange zest, ground cardamom, and a pinch of salt to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix well with a spatula until the mixture comes together. If it's too crumbly, you can add a touch more honey.
  4. Once combined, use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. If desired, roll the balls in chopped pistachios for added texture and flavor.
  6. Place the balls on a lined baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature as a delightful treat.

💡 Chef's Notes

Arrange the balls on a decorative plate and garnish with fresh orange slices or edible flowers for an elegant touch.
