Monster Cookie Protein Balls Energizing Snack Idea
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
- 0.5 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 0.25 cup mini chocolate chips
- 0.25 cup M&M's (or any colorful chocolate candies)
- 0.25 cup chopped nuts (peanuts or almonds)
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and vanilla protein powder. Mix well to distribute the protein powder evenly.
- Add the creamy peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) to the dry ingredients. Mix with a spatula or spoon until the mixture starts to come together.
- Stir in the mini chocolate chips, M&M's, chopped nuts, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Ensure everything is evenly incorporated into the mixture.
- Once combined, use your hands to take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about 1-inch in diameter. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Once all the mixture is rolled into balls, refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- After chilling, serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
