Ingredients
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
- If using, sprinkle in the red pepper flakes for a touch of heat and stir to combine.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Add the lemon juice to the shrimp and toss everything in the pan to coat evenly.
