Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts Sweet and Savory Dish
Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 0.25 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

- 0.25 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are caramelized and tender.
- Once roasted, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and immediately sprinkle the toasted pecans over the top. Toss lightly to combine.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
