Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Chicken Wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. Season Wings: Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper over the wings. If you want a little heat, add the crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well until every wing is thoroughly coated with the seasoning.
  4. Air Fry the Wings: Place the seasoned chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches. Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking process for even crispiness.
  5. Add Parmesan: Once the wings are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and place them in a clean bowl. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and toss the wings until they are nicely coated with the cheese.
  6. Final Crisp: Return the wings to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes at the same temperature, allowing the cheese to melt and form a delicious crust.
  7. Garnish & Serve: Remove the wings from the air fryer and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or on their own!
