Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the cubed sirloin steak with salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the steak cubes in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme, stirring frequently for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.
  5. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter mixture, ensuring they're well-coated. Cook for another minute until heated through.
  6. Transfer the garlic butter steak bites to a serving platter and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
