Fruit and Nut Trifle Delightful Layered Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 whole banana, sliced
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla flavored)
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup granola
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios), roughly chopped
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Rinse the mixed berries under cold water and pat dry gently. Slice the strawberries if they're large. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well until smooth and creamy.
- In a large glass bowl or individual serving glasses, start with a layer of the yogurt mixture at the bottom.
- Layer half of the mixed berries and banana slices over the yogurt.
- Sprinkle a thin layer of granola on top of the fruits for added crunch.
- Add another layer of the yogurt mixture, followed by the remaining fruits and granola.
- Top the trifle with whipped cream, smoothing it out gently.
- Generously sprinkle the chopped mixed nuts over the whipped cream for a delightful crunch.
- Refrigerate the trifle for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few extra berries on top for a beautiful presentation.
