Fresh Citrus Herb Salmon Bake Flavorful and Affordable
Ingredients
- 4 fillets salmon (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 whole lemon, zested and juiced
- 1 whole orange, zested and juiced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, orange zest, orange juice, minced garlic, dill, parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the citrus herb mixture generously over each fillet.
- Let the salmon marinate for about 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Once marinated, bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork. Baking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the salmon garnished with lemon slices and fresh herbs for an added touch.
