Easy Sausage and Egg Casserole Quick and Tasty Meal
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper diced
- 1 cup frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, sauté the diced onion and bell pepper over medium heat until they are softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Spread the thawed hash browns evenly across the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the crumbled breakfast sausage, sautéed onion, and bell pepper mixture over the hash browns.
- Pour the egg mixture over the top of the sausage and veggies, making sure everything is evenly soaked.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the center and the top is golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley before serving.
