Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb or beef
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground lamb or beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced carrots to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the frozen peas, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring all ingredients are well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the prepared mashed potatoes with shredded cheese, milk, and butter until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly. Top it with the creamy mashed potatoes, spreading it out smoothly with a spatula.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
