Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  2. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced beef to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the beef is browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and dried thyme. Sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
  6. Once the sauce is ready, remove from heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the creamy garlic beef over a bed of fluffy mashed potatoes or egg noodles, with a sprinkle of parsley on top for a fresh touch.
