Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  4. Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Carefully roll the dough over the filling, starting at the wide end, and place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg for a golden sheen.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before garnishing with freshly chopped parsley.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your cheesy chicken crescent rolls!
