Cake Batter Milkshake Fun and Tasty Homemade Treat
Ingredients
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup milk (whole or almond)
- 1 4 cup yellow cake mix (not prepared)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
- 1 serving whipped cream (for topping)
- 1 serving extra sprinkles (for garnish)
- 1 serving maraschino cherry (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, yellow cake mix, and vanilla extract.
- Blend on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no lumps from the cake mix.
- Add the rainbow sprinkles and pulse once or twice to incorporate them into the shake, but don’t blend them completely.
- Taste the milkshake and adjust the thickness: add more milk for a thinner shake or more ice cream for a thicker consistency, blending briefly after each addition.
- Pour the milkshake into a tall glass or a mason jar.
- Top generously with whipped cream, sprinkle extra rainbow sprinkles on top, and finish with a maraschino cherry.
💡 Chef's Notes
