Beefy Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs Irresistible Snack Treat
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- optional dill pickle slices and mustard for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches wide.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef and bacon mixture onto the center of each flattened biscuit. Make sure not to overfill, as you'll need to seal them.
- Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch to seal completely, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Using a pastry brush, lightly brush the tops of the biscuit balls with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden color when baked.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuit bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let the bombs cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with optional dill pickle slices and mustard on the side for dipping.
