Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • optional dill pickle slices and mustard for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches wide.
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef and bacon mixture onto the center of each flattened biscuit. Make sure not to overfill, as you'll need to seal them.
  5. Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch to seal completely, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Using a pastry brush, lightly brush the tops of the biscuit balls with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden color when baked.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuit bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the bombs cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with optional dill pickle slices and mustard on the side for dipping.

💡 Chef's Notes

Arrange the beefy bacon cheeseburger bombs on a large platter, garnishing with fresh parsley or basil for a pop of color. Include a small bowl of mustard in the center for dipping. Enjoy!
