Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken Tenders Crispy Delight
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 sprig fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and olive oil together until blended.
- Dip each chicken tender first into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, and then coat it with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating adheres well.
- Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overcrowded; work in batches if necessary.
- Air fry the chicken tenders for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
